We are seeking sharp, research-driven Reporters / Contributors to join our team. This is a flexible and fully remote opportunity, open to both freelance and full-time contributors. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of China-related developments and be able to deliver well-researched, text-only reports in either Chinese or English. You will work closely with editors but retain full flexibility over your schedule and location. Applicants based outside of Hong Kong are preferred.
🔹 We welcome applications from both Chinese-language and English-language reporters. You only need to write in one language. Bilingual ability is welcome but not required.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce original, text-only articles based on desk research or interviews
• Cover topics such as China’s economy, business and industry, international and cross-Strait relations, trade, supply chains, and the Hong Kong diaspora (Note: local stories within Hong Kong SAR are not our focus)
• Collaborate with editors to refine and develop stories
• Meet agreed-upon deadlines and maintain regular communication
Qualifications
• Solid knowledge in one or more of the following areas (not limited to):
• Chinese economic policy or political economy
• Industry, trade, and global supply chains
• Cross-Strait or Sino-international relations
• Hong Kong’s external affairs and diaspora
• Background in economics, international relations, China studies, or other relevant fields
• Preferred: experience in journalism, think tanks, academia, advocacy, or policy research

・數位典藏權限：可優先線上瀏覽修復後的書籍（若版權允許）。
